Please, PLEASE return Sophie to her family!!! It is most devastating to lose a member of the family, and then to have them found and given away. The family that adopted her under these circumstances should surely understand the heartbreak they are causing!!! Shame on the Westmoreland Humane Society for not helping to reunite Sophie to the Mizikar family!!!

I have lost a dog too, we are hurting enough by not knowing where she is but to know she was given to someone else when we could have gotten her back would be devastating. The people that were given the dog should do the right thing and return her.

This situation could happen to anyone and it is only right that Sophie should be returned to her family. Obviously the family who adopted her was looking for a pet to love and care for. There are still so many in the shelter that need their love. Please let Sophie go home and readopt. This will make for two happy animals and lots of lovins for both families.

Sophie must be returned to her rightful owners. the shelter was called by them and never returned the calls.shame on them for adopting her out and ignoring the messages the owner had made.
