I just hope the couple who adopted Sophie could put themselves in the place of the family who has lost there beloved pet. Especially with children who are missing there family pet. There are other dogs who would love to be adopted who have no families.

I don't see how they say that adopting Sophie out was in the best interest of the dog when she has a loving family. They have put this family and the dog also in turmoil. It's all about the buck for the humane society obviously because if they were true dog lovers they would see to it that it was back in its original environment and with its known family and not strangers! Honestly I can't see how the person/people that supposedly adopted her would not want her back with her proper owners. Bring Sophie home to her family!!!
