Final supporters
As many of you know, A&P is set to close very shortly. There has been no announcement of a potential buyer for our Patterson, NY store and time is running out.
The A&P at 3101 on Route 22 is a prime location. It is the anchor store at Patterson Commons and has many loyal customers in the area. Route 22 itself is a highly travelled road that connects thousands of people daily between Putnam and Dutchess Counties
We ask that Wakefern Food Corporation please consider purchasing this location and turning it into a Shoprite. By doing so, this will not only ensure a high quality company in that space, but hopefully save the jobs of our family, friends, and neighbors.

I worked in that store for 14 years. I was there when it opened in 1998. Still have friends there. I pray that location gets picked up by Shoprite so they may continue to be employed.
Carmel Shop Rite is to crowded. and Hannaford's is limited. Lets Balance it out! Shop Rite in Patterson!!!!!
I love shop rite and would love to go there more often . However most stores are of some distance away from me. Patterson , NY is only 5 minutes and I would shop there all the time! They have the best deals around!!!!
I visit the A&P in Patterson weekly and believe ShopRite would be able to do a better job at store up keep and providing for their customers.
I currently go to Carmel Shoprite to do my weekly shopping. I would love one closer! I would also love to pop in when I need a few items instead of the local, over priced stores.
Patterson desperately needs another grocery store. There is definitely enough business to support two stores.
Shoprite has the best food at the best prices!

My daughter-in-law has worked for A & P for many years. She is a hard worker & can work in more than one Dept. Above all she needs to have a job It's a perfect location for Shoprite. Make it happen. Thank you.
