Graduated Harrison High School in 2016 after playing basketball for 4 years, JV & Varsity for 2 each. The ultimate goal was always the county center. I was fortunate enough to play in 2 Slam Dunk challenge games, but the feeling of making it was never achieved

Doesn't make sense to travel to N.Y., if the games aren't at the County Center anymore...

Making it to the County Center is the dream of every high school basketball player in Section I. Don't destroy those dreams; put the tournament back to the County Center.

I’m 62 yrs old. Harrison graduate. Never played HS Basketball at CC. However, been there enough as spectator. Whether a player or spectator, minute your outside walking up steps, excitement happens. Reconsider this poor decision.

When the public is finally able to see the contract terms with Pace, and the committee is shown to have acted unethically, all involved need to be terminated

This is a ridiculous move. The Section 1 basketball championships is synonymous with the County Center! A real shame for future generation of kids.

The decision by Section 1 to remove the Playoffs from the County Center is a travesty and should be reversed. The individuals who made this decision need to be investigated for their motivations to make such an ill advised move that flies in the face of decades of tradition. The County Center HS playoffs are a local institution that makes our area and the lives of our student athletes better.

One of my fondest moments in my athletic carrier was playing for a Section title in what was the Mecca of Section 1 basketball!
