Bring basketball back to where it belongs! This is the Mecca for high school baskbetball why take it from the kids. Makes no sense

Was fortunate enough to play at county center w/ Fox Lane in 2012, GREAT experience. Don’t rob other section one players of playing on same stage!

Jennifer Simmons, James Mackin, Dr Ileana Eckert, Dr. Walter Moran, Dr. Martin Cox, Dr. Andy Irwin,Mr. James Dennett, Mr. Joseph Sigillo, Mr. John Bauerlein, & Karen Peterson, Put the best interests of our student-athletes, our coaches, our Athletic Directors and the communities you are supposed to be representing before your own selfish agenda. This is now going well beyond Section 1 basketball. We will no longer stand for you lack of transparency and accountability to the people you should be serving. Your actions are deplorable!!!

As a fan of HS basketball, it is really upsetting that Section 1 would change the venue. Not only do the kids look forward to playing there, but the fans look forward to going there and watching the games. Please bring it back!

As a former high school student I️ loved to go see my teams play at the county center. There was something about the small arena that made everyone excited. To take that away from these current students now would be very wrong. A tradition that has lasted so many years should not be taken away now.

I'm 53 years old and have played and coached at the County Center. To not have Section one hoops at the Center is like not having basketball at the Garden. Absolutely a complete disservice to the kids and the County!!!!!! You should be ashamed of yourselves!!!!!

I have been going too County Center since 1961.Nothing but fond memories watching games there. You may have not experienced . What it’s like too be an athelete and playing in front your home town crowded. And by the way this committee is acting. I can see you never had or were athelete or fans of a sporting event.So take your PC attitude and do the right thing. I know you have egg on all your faces. Do the right things for the kids.

Ms Jennifer Simmons and Mr James Mackin, In case you of haven't noticed, you have personally decided to deny the Section 1 student/athletes the opportunity to play in the Mecca of HS Basketball, the County Center. I ask that you rescind your decision and do what is in the BEST interests of all Section 1 student/athletes.... Play the games at the County Center.
