Bring Section 1 Basketball Tournament Back to the County Center

A travesty for Section 1 basketball players. This has been a tradition for generations overruled by the quest to make a few extra dollars. Section 1 leadership shouldn't be so proud to not admit it was a mistake and try to rectify it.

The entire process by Section 1 has been disappointing. In addition to letting down the student-athletes, their silence has been unfair to the leaders of Pace University, as well as the Westchester Parks Department

Section 1 has not operated in good faith for years, this is merely the most public of those decisions. There needs to be a complete housecleaning of the leadership of this deeply flawed organization.

As someone who has been a fan and participant within Section 1 athletics, it is an outrage that this decision was made with zero transparency and without the input of the area athletics community. All steps possible should be taken to restore the basketball playoffs to the County Center.

Reinstate Section 1 Semi and Final Games at the Westchester County Center it’s the only sensible venue!
