Normal school times for Persalvic Elementary, Victoria, NL

Honestly this is really not the best thinking. The kids get out of school before high school. What if the parent\guardian is pending on the big brother or sister to care for the child after school? This is putting so many people at a loss.

This is way to early for kids to have to get on a bus

All students dont get a nofe sleep and we are all falling a sleep in class

This needs to be fixed and now our children deserve normal school hours and not pay for our governments mistakes

I THINK THAT PERSALVIC SCHOOL HOURS SHOULD BE CHANGED BACK TO ITS REGULAR TIME.THE SMALL KIDS FINE IT HARD ENOUGH ON TH REGULAR TIME LET ALONE 6AM IN THE MORNING.THIS IS A BIT TO MUCH ON THE SCHOOL BOARDS PART SO COME PARENTS LET THIS PETITION BEGIN AND DO NOT STOP UNTIL WE GET IT CHANGED.THANK-YOU

As a grade 8 student at persalvic even I fall asleep by mid day! Can't imagine how the younger students feel being tired themselves let alone watching the senior class falling asleep ! Need changes

100% agree as a grade 8 student of Persalvic. Although it may be my last year I still pity the poor little children who have to wake up so early?

For my brother. He is 11 years old and has to wake up 10 to 6 to catch his bus for 7:20 and then has a half hour drive to school. Then gets home and has to do two hours of homework! Not fair, kids will be too sleep deprived to achieve the adequate grades.

I couldn't believe it when my daughter told me that the kids (my grandkids age 6&5) have to be picked up at 720 this is outrageous. They will be to tired when they get home to do homework. What happened to regular hours 9-3. With 2 periods before recess,2 periods after recess and 3 periods after lunch????

Getting up so early is paying effect on the children they are so tired in the mornings and pays effect to there day

I think the school time should be changed back to normal. Due to the change in the time I have put my child in a different school. My child has mental health issues and as it is now I have a job waking him up for 7-730am. I refuse to add to the bad day that he is going to have.

Yes the times should be changed back ! Crazy seeing these children on the roads at that hour in the morning ! And soon to be in the dark !

This time change is so wrong for many reasons. #1... affecting our children's rest/thinking process. Tired in school and not able to absorb what they should. Changes to bussing is another issue... Why not put things as they were? Why fix something that wasn't broken in the beginning. Taking away from our children instead of providing the best that can be! I am a nana and I am concerned and rotted with this government's actions, like they care !
