its wasteful. my old travel mug fits fine under the machine so why are they forcing the paper cups on us now?
absolute robbery. bring back the bring your own mug policy already.
Another justification is to regulate number of ounces of refills, but this could be done via reasonably accurate proxy methods, like placing a masking tape line next to the register of the maximum acceptable cup height. It wouldn't be exact, but it would be close enough to protect whatever interest Harry's has in regulating mug size without being so self-serving.
Not a 3L, but I can't imagine how BS this has to feel to be told to pay $10 less than a month before you're done.
