Let her back. The principle is wrong doing. She possibly "saved" the lives of the kids. The principle would have worste consequences with "liability" if he made the kids with these factors remain at school with no doctor attention.

I think she should get her job back. What if the student died while waiting for paramedics to get there to take care of her?

The WTVC report was completely one-sided and lacked way too much information. I learned more in the comments as opposed to the report itself. They should be embarrassed as should this idiotic school board, principle and the rest. They certainly made it clear that they lied and forced her to resign. I am signing this in support of Miss Mitts but if I were her, I would never return to that school while that moron principle is employed. I support her and I support her decision in suing. Very obvious on how badly principal Robertson runs that school. He has shown that he not only doesn't care about the students (several times) but also the employees. One good thing about that WTVC report was that it showed how desperate they were to trash this lady and how badly they failed. Giving the media her personnel file/information was very low and only made Miss Mitts look even better! I would hire Miss Mitts in a heartbeat.

I have never even been to Tennessee, but I have been to school. There was a lack of compassionate and dedicated teachers then, and it has only gotten worse. What is not lacking is paper-pushing bureaucrats who don't care if a student lives or dies, as long as the Board is not held responsible. The School Board and Principal are cowards and liars, and they are the ones who should resign!
