This is what I would want my teachers to do if thy saw the need. Come on, use your heads and your hearts.

We need more teachers like her, not less. Shame on the principal for shamming a teacher looking out for the well being of her student.

As a Red Bank alumni and a previous student of miss Mitts I think anyone would be ignorant to put her out because she cares about her students. Red Bank High has gone down terribly in the years that I've been gone, so removing one of the good caring teachers makes the new principal a fool. I say remove the principal, give miss Mitts her job back and try and save the now crappy school that Red Bank has become. Before, I wanted to send my child there, now I think I'll pass. Great job screwing up principal Robertson.

Teachers should not be punished for going the extra mile. And Ms. Mitts went WAY beyond the extra mile.

Ms. Mitts is an example of compassion in action. Helping sick students get the care they need and even paying the bill since one of them had no insurance is a stellar example of a teacher caring for her students beyond the classroom walls. Ms. Mitts is not a liability. She is an asset to her student, RBHS and the community. Bring Mitts Back!

As teachers, we are charged with giving the students the best learning environment that we can. This includes helping students in other ways, if we are able, while they are in our care. Miss Mitts should not be so harshly punished for being a Good Samaritan and caring about the well-being of her students in and out of the classroom.

A caring teacher is what we,as parents, hope for. Keep her, she deserves better pay,not being fired.

Miss Mitts should be commended for taking the initiative to help a student in need. what she did was a true act of humanitarianism and the world would be a much better place if more of us would step up and do the right thing.

I was the student that she took to the er last year. I had a temp of 105, pneumonia, a kidney infection && a bladder infection . I was also 7 months pregnant . Ms. Mitts saved my baby boys life as well as mine ! And she did it out of the kindness of her heart, NOT because I asked . She would do anything she can just to see a student happy and succeeding in life. And she ALWAYS keeps a smile on her face. She is just so kind. She even hosted by baby shower for me && is the godmother of my 20 month old son. I love Mitts with all of my heart && will help anyway i can to get her back. I could care less what The "principal" at our school says. She did NOT deserve to be forced to resign for saving someone's life .

Miss Mitts is definitely one of the best teachers I have ever had. She really cares about her students and that means a lot considering most teachers don't give a crap. When I saw this my heart sank because she is such a great person and for someone to do this to her makes me very upset. When I graduated from Red Bank, there were only a handful of good teachers left at that school and Miss Mitts was at the top of that list. This guy made a terrible mistake and he will surely regret it.

Pretty lousy way to treat a human being. How would you feel if it was YOUR child that did not get taken to the doctor? This was a chicken(stuff) move if I ever saw one.

Can you please not dog my principals at my school? Yeah Mrs.Mitts should have never got fired and I hate to see her leave. One of the sweetest teachers ive ever had and always brightened my morning when I walked by her. But dont get on here and dog our adminstration, because they do everything they can do to make our school a better place to be at.

Jennifer should be reinstated immediately, as she has done nothing outside of the law by extending generosity and concern to a student in need.
