What a shame! Of all the things a teacher could do and you do this?

She was a great teacher and they chose to let her go. That's a shame because we have teachers who don't even care about us but she did and they let her go. This school is going to lose a lot of respect and wen students for letting herr go.

I honestly do not understand how you can fire or force someone to resign from their position for being a good human being. It just astonishes me.

Miss Mitts is a dedciated educatior with the best interest of her students at heart. She cares about the kids as people and wants nothing but the best for them. She is a great teacher, leader and person.

This is horrible. You should be thanking her for actually caring!

My daughter is also a caring teacher. Go Ms Mitts never stop caring. As the the cheer goes go fight, win. Schools change your policy. Rehire her. You sound uneducated.

We need to lighten up on the excessive scrutiny and allow teachers to be the examples of humane treatment of others they were meant to be.

That's a disgrace to do that to an obviously dedicated and wonderful teacher.

Let's not let concerns over liability take precedence over a person's health.

This teacher, was being an example to all teachers. There was no grounds for liabilty for helping a student who is a legal adult get the medical assistance they need.
