Jennifer Mitts sounds like a decent, caring teacher. She and teachers like her should be commended for their work not penalized.

No good dead goes unpunished. They should be more concerned with education. Like learning how to spell K-A-R-M-A.

This is just incredible, what on earth are we teaching the children of today to EVER do such a thing to this fine example of a teacher! She should be highly honored for what she did!!

Absolutely disgraceful, morally we all know what the correct decision is here and that is not to get rid of this teacher for doing what any sensible person would. A true hero.

It's about time people start doing the right thing again in this world, the christian thing, an act of kindness. Where have we gone so wrong that we are so hung up on rules that we can't save someones life and offer aid. There are always exceptions to the rules, always and I do believe this is one of them. She has a classroom of students who are very needy and are living lives very different from most others that the rules apply. The administration needs to think about this. If this child's parents could take or would take the child to the hospital and wouldn't or couldn't someone needed to intervene in behave so a life could be saved. She did the right thing and now you want to take her job and it's not right. She moves in a differnet world in her classroom because her students needs are different from most others and you have failed to see that. You need to open up your eyes!!
