Shame on these school officials for their behavior. The problem with some people in the U.s. is that many are willing to sue for a few bucks, which means everybody is so scared of being sued for doing the right thing that good people wind up paying for this paranoia. I as a parent would be glad to know that she was the one getting my child medical attention rather then noone getting him to er. Its her money she has the right to spend it as she wants.

Wow !!! Let's fire the teacher for caring enough to help a very ill student with no health care. My question to the school board in the heart of the bible belt would be: what would jesus do ???? I'm sure the superintendent was in the room when she got bullied into this crap.. Ohhh she wasn't huh ???

This is an example of a teacher going over and above her job requirements and showing compassion and concern for her students. She is an asset to your school district and you do yourself as well as the students a grave disservice by not appreciating that.

This nonsense has to stop. Good deeds need not to be punished. Had that child died, then that school would have been sued. She saved the school a court case, they should be thanking her.

I hope that she is represented by a strong union. It sounds like she has been working in a terrible school district. Hopefully others will see what is taking place at Red Bank and avoid accepting positions there.
