This teacher should be applauded for her caring and good deeds, not punished. Principal Justin Robertson should be ashamed as his actions, and should have had the backbone to stand up for Miss Mitts. All teachers should be so dedicated to their students. It's shameful this school's stance is not geared in the direction of truly caring for their students.

It is absolutely rediculous and unethical to punish a teacher for doing an act of compassion while rewarding teachers who do such things as throw out lunches of poor children and abuse those with special needs. SHAMEFUL! I hope she sues the pants off of this administration.

It may only take one person to change peoples lives. Congratulation it Ms Mitts, for your actions. A brave act we can all learn from.

Someone with a temperature of 105 can have seizures and die in a very short time! She probably saved the life of this student.

This si a shame. What if these students had died? Then the school woudl be sued for millions. I think there's a hidden agenda here. Prove us wrong by giving this Hero Teacher her job back. All Eyes on You!

Ms. Mitts was demonstrating in the truest form to her students by putting forth words into action, being a good samaritan, a good citizen, and helping others. Her students are indeed blessed to have such a loving caring teacher. She is a refreshing rare gem in todays world.

This is a rediculous situation. How can helping a student get healthcare be a sacking offense? Sack the principal.

Miss Mitts.... you are such an angel, there should be more people like you and less of those who see your good deeds as liability.

God Principal Roberts, what would Jesus do?

Getting rid of teachers who legitimately care about the well being of their students is the worst thing a school could do. We need more teachers who care this deeply, not less.

How any school can punish a teacher for doing something so kind is unbelievable.

It is not the teacher who should be removed from her job for showing compassion to a student. It is, rather, the prinicpal who should be removed for showing none.

The principle is the Nit Wit, not Miss Mitts. Honor this teacher, praise and emulate her moral actions despite her inconscionable overseers..
