I can't believe you tore that dog away from his family especially, he was going to buy you a new one and pay for the price of Poseidon on top of it what more could you want it's not like he's just saying I want the dog and I'm not going to reimburse you he's more than doing enough he should get that dog it's only right.

The Mayor who made this decision called Poseidon "city property". I BEG TO DIFFER! If he were a lamp, a refrigerator, a car, a computer, that would be true. But Poseidon has a HEART, and was treated as FAMILY!!! The decision is inhumane and disgusting, and shows a total lack of understanding. If the Chief is going to buy you another "piece of property" and train him, then let him have HIS FAMILY back since he obviously cares that much about him!

Why is this happening? It’s a sad day when small towns can’t get it right. I’m sure there’s more to this story but bottom line is the dog belongs to the family. It’s bad enough the soldiers lose their service dogs don’t bring that nonsense home also.
