PLEASE return K9 Poseidon to his family in Camp Point, IL! There is no valid excuse to keep this dog from his family. If you have a modicum of conscience, you will do the right thing and let this dog live the rest of his life with the only family he knows. Shame on you if you do not release this K9 back to Steve Patterson.

Canines are family members -- like children to us canine kid lovers. This is cruel to both the family and Poseidon. Please do the right thing and return Poseidon to his loved ones.

He needs to be home with his family! The agency I worked for did this same similar crap but in the end the handler was able to buy his dog after he was ripped from his family and stuck at the animal shelter. My dog retired, I got her and then I left. People don’t get it. They are a family member and bond just like people do. Bring him home!!!

I feel so bad for Poseidon and the family. That poor dog probably thinks he has been abandoned by those he loves, even though he wasn’t. The bond between a family and a dog isn’t something that just goes away.
