You can't be serious - this reporter is entertaining and a breath of fresh air compared to the "old school" conservative approach to reporting. Unless there is something we are missing, sounds like no basis for dismissal to me. Bring her back !

Firing somebody who probably brought a smile to many viewers is absolutely ridiculous. News reporting doesn't have to be a stuck up endeavor. After all, CNN is owned by Disney, so news reporting is also entertainment. What Julie Tremmel did was very creative and it should be rewarded, not punished. Get a life, NBC 10!

Reporters like this are the reason the news is interesting to watch and it brings a smile to the viewers face. i guarantee that non view at home was offended. I'm really disappointed in NBC for firing her...... it shows how out of touch the network can be when it comes to the idea of drawing in a younger audience.

NBC 10 shame on you! Bad decision on many levels. This reporter was a breath of fresh air, showing a little personality and sense of humor. We need more reporters like her. Me and my family have always watched NBC 10, but if this situation is not corrected we will switch to another station and encourage others to do the same! Smarten up and fix this, makes the whole station look bad!!
