To Gregg Henson, the program director at WPGB.
Dear Mr. Henson,
The Jerry Doyle Show is one of the most balanced and entertaining conservative talk shows in the United States. Jerry always presents an alternative, refreshing viewpoint to what's happening in our country's politics. One of the ways he accomplishes this is by inviting guests of varying political views onto his show. He also encourages listeners to call in and discuss the issues even when he disagrees with them.
However, WPGB recently removed The Jerry Doyle Show from it's lineup and replaced it with a nightly sports show. Not only is this redundant (as there are already two major sports stations in this region), but it will also lessen our conservative, libertarian message. Further, the removal of The Jerry Doyle Show from WPGB's lineup means that there are no major conservative talk shows on Pittsburgh's airwaves from 6-8 PM! Therefore, we request that The Jerry Doyle Show be restored to it's regular 6-9 PM time slot.
Thank you for your consideration.
I have sent a formal inquiry to the station management regarding the decision to replace talk radio with sports programming. My next step is to coordinate with local media contacts to ensure they understand the specific lack of conservative coverage in this time slot.

The volume of support has reached a level that allows me to request a formal meeting with the station management. I am currently drafting a letter to summarize our position for the program director. Expect an update once the request for a sit-down is acknowledged.

Enough with the sports talk already. I tune in for Jerry and the news not to hear about random games. Bring him back to 104.7.
