It's an absolute travesty that the original American art form, "Jazz," has been left off the main television broadcast for what is supposed to be a the biggest night in music. The Academy should be ashamed!

As host of a global jazz broadcast i feel jazz belongs in the main (televised) part of the Grammy's. Jazz has played a major role in my musical sentiments and this has sparked my creating a radio show for in the first place.

Shame on the people in charge of deciding for all of us what we like and don't like and what is to be honored and featured and what is not. Jazz music has and is a part of America and our culture and deserves the same recognition and respect. Real players with real talent. playing real instruments. Time we got the respect we have rightfully earned.

Being one of North America's indiginous music styles, it should be thriving. Especially that it is one of America's only indigenous music. It is also a shame the europeans embrace he music more than we do. I

How dare they take away a music genre that is historically institutional to the entire music industry. Shame on the Grammys. And after viewing this last show, I'm just no longer interested. It is not what it used to be... what it was created to be...Happy to sign the petition.
