Grammys has lost any integrity since it is now based of popularity and profits...second best to the American Music Awards since they are honest...it's about th $$$$, not talent or ability. Classical European music and Jazz reflect the highest abilties of compostition and performance.

Maybe America is no longer a great country and no longer deserves good music. No, America is a culturally and civilly collapsing nation and NEEDS all the culture and civility it can get. But in this case the starving man is refusing nourishing food.

How about some awards for REAL musicians at the Grammys, like jazz players? I'm a voting member of NARAS, and have 3 multi platinum RIAA awards to my credit. I'm disgusted with what the Grammys have become, and am thinking of resigning my NARAS membership. Please fix this before you lose your real base.

Jazz music is a major part of American musical culture and has influenced music throughout the world. Improvisationin is at the heart of Jazz inspiring freedom of ceative expression and originality. All of these qualities are increasingly being relegated to the wilderness and jazz must be promoted and brought back to the forefront of creative music genres.

Live musical performances, including jazz, should be the focus of the Grammy Awards. Everyone is tiring of the "chock" factor involved in the live performances. Let's get back to the music!
