I found the grammy's very disappointing this year and it was to everyone I talked to. I can't believe some the ones that won, pretty tasteless. It's not a bout music that is for sure. Jazz should be honoured and forefront where musicians actually have talent.

Watched less than 15% of this year's program. Two of the collaborations were awesome, however I could think of many rock/jazz, or alternative/jazz collabs that would be killer. Seems if it isn't C&W or Rap you don't make the cut.

Show the world that the US can lead the world'c culture with the kind of music made by artists who bring depth and meaning to the lives of people all over the planet. Let the US be proud of our heritage and not ashamed.

Jazz musicians are some of the hardest working artists in the world, and what they offer in terms of product quality and imagination cannot be overstated. I have always been outraged at the little attention it gets on a stage as large as the GRAMMYS. One listen to the genre's contributions and its immense following (beit in contemporary or traditional jazz) should be enough to indicate how important to the world it is to keep it in the foreground of music! After all, when you consider that jazz and blues have been at the base of so many genres coming after it, it should be easy to see why jazz fans are outraged at the absence of the genre at the GRAMMYS. Please consider the impact of the genre and the respect it is due!

Ever since Mike Melvoin passed away, the Grammy's have continue to degrade to the point that it now has very little or nothing to do with real music. Its all about rock/rap style video shows with bad language, pierced belly buttons, twerking,smoke and mirrows. I and most of my friends can't stand to even watch the show anymore.

I lost interest w/o the REAL American Art. 3 chords and jumpig around do not make anything artistic IMHO.

Jazz still stands on its own as a singularly American music. It is still remarkably vital despite the lack of industry support. Put it back on the Grammys.
