there are award shows for all Genres of music except Jazz. There is no platform for Jazz and it is. No wonder so many people todag dont know who some of the greats are like Herbie Hacock, Marcus Miller, Phil Perry, Marion Meadows. Najee, Gerald Albrigbt and thousands more. Lets get this together folks. just so very frustrating

I have dedicated my career over 72 years to being a jazz pianist & vocalist in the San Francisco Bay Area. I continue to perform, record, compose and am at a lost as to why the only American artform is Jazz & Blues. As a male vocalist, why were the male and female voclaists catergory combined. How unfair.

I really do think that it is a terrible disservice to all the jazz musicians and their fans that Jazz is not concidered a Grammy Award category. What a disgrace to the music industry!
