Grammy Awards show represents the best in music. How can you have that without having jazz in the televised portion of the show.

Jazz is THE American music. How can the Grammys ignore it? Jazz artists deserve reognition for excellence at least as much as pop stars!

Jazz music is as American as Ford Motors, The Empire State Build, and The Super Bowl. We have had so many great musicians play Jazz music and so many learn from listening to Jazz music. It is truly a shame that we cannot honor our Jazz musicians as we do musicians in other genres. If you are a Jazz lover, Jazz historian, or someone who appreciates Jazz here is a petition site to bring back Jazz to the Grammy's. It's the American way! Thanks!

The practice of a Music awards ceremony which disrespects and ignores our most innovative and richly nurturing Music is an awards ceremony which is culturally impotent, and aesthetically bankrupt. Time for an awards cewremony which recognizes the best in Jazz across the boards, not token leavings from the Pop world, and worse. Award ceremonies for ALL great Musics of the World is LONG Overdue.
