not only is jazz snubbed, almost all real music is insulted by show biz BS..what would most of the so called music be without the glitz?

Like singers that need to "blues" up a ballad or song like the Nationa Anthem, becasue they are not good enough to sing it straight- maybe twerking and other bullshit is needed by female singers that again, cannot sing good enough and have to take your mind off mediocre singing.

Anybody can make a song about sex. All you have to do is speak from your private parts. But to make a Jazz piece requires heart, mind and soul. If we remove Jazz from the music scene and we do not recognize it's significance in the very spirit of all mesic, we lose everything.

Not only jazz but also R&B & Latin Music .For some reason they(the music industry period snub wha t they label or pigeon hole "MATURE" music trying to attract dollars from some of these "DUMB ass kids"out here.They have no regard for us baby boomers that are the financial base of the record industry.That is exactly who I targeted on my album project "PHILA ECLECTISITY" by "UNCLELARRYsBAND & ironically my demographic is from 18 to 55 yrs old .So later for the GRAMMIES .Let's start our own awards show (I know we can get sponsorship) and televise & honor each other.PEACE
