Providing recreational facilities for the young and old is critical for a health community. We need safe places to inspire the young, and encourage them to develop into great athletes. Unrepresented sports activities like Ice Skating, Ice Hockey, and speed skating are critical in large cities where talent exists, but opportunity on ice does not. Please support this great endeavor.

we need a ring back on the west side! Most of my clients are from that area and have to drive out to the valley to play hockey and or to have skating lessons. This rink will draw a lot of business and bring a lot of money to this area

Children and adults need a place to go and exercise and deal with stress in a positive manner. We certainly have enough restaurants and bars!

The loss of the Culver City ice rink left a void in the hockey playing and recreational ice skating communities of Los Angeles, especially on the West Side. What a great opportunity for Santa Monica to fill that need, and attract ancillary spending to the area!

The west side has excruciatingly low sport space! Santa Monica seems to give it a high priority including lighting fields for winter practices. Thank you am domease expand! Teams have no space!

Ever since the culver rink closed. There has been a big gap on the west coast. We need this for future athletes to come.

I learned to skate, play hockey, had countless birthdays and Friday night skates in middle school at the Culver rink and even worked there for a while before they closed. The rink was a landmark and a family and it truly devastated a whole community when it was closed. Putting a new rink here would not only bring back a huge fan and client base, but would also help to grow hockey and skating in southern California. PLEASE help bring hockey back to the west side.

We need this! Since Culver closed it's doors there is a huge gap on the west side: an enormous population base without a local ice rink.

With the loss of the legendary Culver Ice facility, in a budding market where the original 12 Los Angeles Kings have won to cups in the last 4 years, it makes no sense to not build this facility. Promotes healthy a lifestyle all around!

There is a very strong need for this ice facility by participants of all aspects of the ice skating world and Santa Monica would extremely benefit in tax dollars and revenue to the area businesses.

Add curling and let's form a complete ice coalition and extend the opportunities for multi-generational and adaptive sport as well as the ability to host world class competitions.

As a USFSA adult competitor and publicist for Legends on Ice the live ice show I strongly urge the City of Santa Monica to bring back the ICE. The present Fred Seigal building was once home to some of the greatest ice skaters in the world. Let's do this! Sharon Hardee Jimenez President Founder Bring Hollywood Home
