The mods finally have to acknowledge this wave of support because they cannot ignore us anymore. This momentum proves that their permanent ban was a lazy power trip and we are done letting them silence our community.

From what I understand, Homeland did tried to get a temporary ban so he could get some work done. He made two separate threads, one of which got a blue reminder card and the other got a black card as well as a perma ban. It's a real shame this has happened as he is such a lovely person and makes great contributions to TSR which have had a positive impact on many users.
Homeland was one of the first people to make me feel welcome when I joined TSR and I find it a great shame that he has received a permanent ban considering he has made some terrific contributions to TSR in the past :)
Although Homeland should have been more thoughtful when he was making those posts, I still think that a permanent ban is not necessary.
Seems like a good guy, let's give him another chance

While perhaps he didn't take the best approach, a user shouldn't recieve a straight permaban for questioning mod actions. homeland contributed positively to the community and the reaction to his permaban demonstrates that.
