If their name is used in other common ways, like mailing and other everyday ways then it should be allowed as a name on Facebook. Forcing someone to use something other than a pseudo name when the pseudo name is their well known persona is just stood and wrong.

FB's name policy is discriminatory and untenable. Using the name people know you by is NOT dishonesty, especially when you're a public figure.

The "real name" policy fb has sucks. It is not applied fairly or consistently and is often used to target minorities. Time for fb to rethink this!

I see so many post by people who don't use their real names. So why persecute Granny ? At least she is using a proper Nick name that has been lovingly used by her friends and family. You facebook admins need to get a hobby ! Also maybe you should be less judgemental of people who disagree with your liberal views .
