As someone who has grown up in the LGBT community and also worked with many burlesque performers with day jobs, I think it's ludicrous to make people go by their legal name. How about all of those actors on FB? You think those are their real names? Are you charging them for the right to use their fake names? How about the FB identities such as Marilyn Monroe and Kurt Cobain. They were gone well before FB. Stop Facebook. We're getting really tired of your shit.

Please stop with the FB NaZi BS! Bring Granny Goodwith back! She's a good lady and has saved me from losing my mind more than a few times. Facebook isn't the same without her and I'm sure the other petitioners will deactivate till she is compensated for her loss of pictures and memories that are irreplaceable. I thought my pictures were safe on Facebook, but now I'm definitely second guessing that.

I included this in my petition. I had wondered what happened to you and when I saw the reason, I titled my head like a curious animal.
"It's not one's name that makes a difference, it's their actions. Granny Goodwitch, emphasis on GOOD, should be allowed to be known under any moniker she so chooses. At the end of the day, does everyone go to bed, restless, unable to sleep worrying about the name "Granny Goodwitch?" If so, I would highly recommend anyone who does this re-evaluate their personal priorities."

Please I have known Granny through fb for 6 years now. Her posts are sometimes the highlight in my day. I miss her dearly!! Bring her back!

I love to read granny goodwitch's post she can make you smile, feel okay for being different, and passed along useful info. Not to mention all the star's birthdays. Leave her alone and give her her page back she had family photos and stuff there also. Go after the people posting pornography and trying to scam people.

Please stop this nonsense of taking people's pages down. I have at least SIX friends who have had this happen to them. Five of whom were using their OWN NAMES.
There are so many strange names. Plus many people are known to all of their friends by their nicknames.
We love FB. It's a wonderful place to keep in touch with a vast amount of friends who live all over the world.
But it's VERY unnerving to think that any of them could disappear at any time!
So please . . . just let things be.

Many of us use names by which we're known, whether they're our "legal" names or not. Who are you, FB, to say that a person's name isn't really their name? And what if Granny G. had've had her name legally changed to that but you, because it sounds funny, thought it wasn't her name?
