why must one put out who they are to meet the needs of ignorance? People in the pagan/wiccan/witch still have to hide to protect themselves unlike Christians. Hades I can't even get this message typed without The Christian word being capulized. It won't let me change it. Let the people have the privacy. You can still know who they are behind the scenes.

I have an issue with the identity factor on facebook as well. My account was suspended due to my name being Harley Whatever, I am a drag performer. My name is my alter ego. I don't want the world to know dawn yerkman and associate it with that persona. Just as I don't want my fans to know the real me. I understand that facebook has a theory that real people connect with real people. People you may know. I had a large fan base, but as of the time that facebook enforced their identity rule it has dropped because no one knows ME. In certain situations this must change. The persona if named harley whatever is as real as I.
Facebook, I think you need to reevaluate your position on this.
Many gay and lesbian folks have opted for different names. Transgendered have as well. They may make this choice based on people they know notknowing their preferences. To avoid bullying. Any number of reasons for an alter persona is a good enough reason.
Who are you to decide that you know what is right for all facebook users?
I stand by Granny Goodwitch and all users who have been told that they must use their real identity or face having all their memories, posts, articles, pictures etc disabled.
