This is ridiculous. Give Granny Goodwitch her page back! Out of my 600+ Facebook friends, probably over 100 of them are using made-up names, and some of them are pretty rude. Where are their bans? Why is it that Facebook picks and chooses when and what to enforce? If you have a rule, you enforce it for everyone. But first, make sure your rule isn't stupid. This one is stupid. Of course, the best thing that could happen would be if someone would create some competition for Facebook...but it's the only game in town, and the dictatorship will continue because we all /allow/ it to continue by not deleting our accounts.

there is no reason she should have to change, people use non deplumes for writing, art etc etc she should be allowed to be who she is ....leave peoples names alone unless they are actually doing wrong things under a fake id...this is not a fake id it is a much loved non deplume

Facebook needs to respect names that may not me "normal" such as tribal names or aliases used by a religion. Also those used by people to protect their identities.
