I've been friends with granny goodwitch for the better part of two and half years now. I first learned of granny goodwitch through one my most favorite and respected authors Anne Rice. I've come to admire and to rely on granny in my news feed everyday. I see her beautiful family, and get to see where she stands on everyday issues. I may not know her personally but she is granny goodwitch to me, all her loyal friends and followers.

When this became an issue for trans individuals, Facebook stated that it would allow people to identify themselves by the name they are most frequently known. You seem to have backtracked on that and it has had emotional consequences for many people. Trans individuals are deleted for going by the gender name with which they identify. Autistic individuals are deleted because they add an Aû to their actual name. Wiccan/Pagan individuals are deleted because they wish to be known by their religious names. Now, a well known personality who we all enjoy is being singled out. Your policy goes against the number one rule of internet safety for minors which is to never reveal your real name on the internet. There are so many reasons you need to change this and leave people alone. There are so many other REAL problems you could be using man hours to fix such as spam messages, account hacking and viruses being spread like wildfire. Stop bothering your loyal users and go after your site abusers.
