This is ridiculous. There are numerous accounts created in false names by people wishing to remain anonymous or to act inappropriately.

Granny Goodwitch is an icon. There is no reason for public figures, known by their pen names, to recreate the their social media for a "rule" imposed by Facebook.

What on earth face book? I once had vodka as my middle name and that wasn't an issue, This lady has got me through some of the roughest days of my life with her kind words and her posts are something i look forward too everyday. How can you enforce such an arbitrary rule x You allow some terrible things yet not an obvious pseudonym. Please allow this beautiful woman back

Facebook, please let Granny come back with her Granny Goodwich name. She is not a random troll but a warm and giving person who has been a good friend to many, including myself. This is an arbitrary rule since anyone can use fake "real " names to create profiles.

Oh, gawd Facebook! Didn't the witch trials end 2 centuries ago. For goodness sake, Granny Goodwitch's is one of several pillars of intelligencia on Anne Rice's page. In spite of Anne having over a million followers, Granny is a stand-out member, always bringing collaborative content to the conversations on Anne Rice's forum. For goodness sake, bring Granny Goodwitch back. It is rather sophomoric that Granny was ever denied access to FB. That is frankly, 'so yesterday.' Best, Julie Wilson

Its very upsetting to hear that Granny was deactivated by facebook. I love her articles and she is such a delightful person to have around. It isn't fair that she has been targeted by abusive reporters, and I feel that Facebook needs to take stronger stance against report abuse.
