I enjoy my life, I really do. But some things I enjoy much more than others.
I enjoy the legendary, endless buffet featuring an abundant variety of delicious familiar favorites and continuous new menu offerings at Golden Corral restaurants.
I also enjoy seeing the Ohio Bobcats play intercollegiate athletics at the bucolic campus in Athens, Ohio.
And, currently, I can not do those things concurrently. Sure, there are locations in Gallipolis or Chillicothe, which are a reasonable drive from both my home and the Athens metroplex. And sure, the trip planner on Golden Corral's website is convenient. But it's not an easy day to get to gameday then haul the family to a Golden Corral for good food and the homespun kid-friendly brand of Jeff Foxworthy's humor; especially in the age of flexible scheduling for broadcast television windows.
Please join my petition for Golden Corral to build or renovate a restaurant in Athens, Ohio. It will improve the quality of life for thousands of people!

I love Golden Corral. I think it would be a very big money maker for Athens Ohio.
It is way past time to bring a Golden Corral to Athens. Very good food at affordable prices. I hope it’s a done deal soon
YES, We currently only have Chinese buffets here in Athens county. Being it's over an hour drive for some of us here to get to Golden Corral elsewhere, we only get to go maybe once a year when out of town. Golden corral is great for families whose members can't agree on one type of cuisine. It has options for everyone's taste.
We really need a golden coral in athens nothing but pizza and over priced steakhouse here
With the college in Athens, seems reasonable to have one located there. Lots of out of towners there quite a bit. Census is up too.

We need a good sit d I wn restaurant in Athens where people who do not drink alcohol can eat. The one in Gallipolis closed so it is 50 mile to Chillicothe and 50 back just to sit at a buffet.
