I personally did not care for Mr.Garrison but he does not deserve to lose his job because he voices an opinion it may have not been appropriate in front of a class of 6th graders it's still ridiculous

Yes, this teacher may have made an innapropriate comment that shouldn't have been discussed on campus, but it has nothing to do with his dedication to helping students learn and grow. After all, are opinions are what make us who we are, and that's something that everyone should have the privilege to do, regardless. This simple action could be looked upon as wrong or unjust, or you could see it as a teacher forming an opinion and sharing it for others to recognize. Maybe what he said was innapropriate, but this was a chance for students to take what they've heard and discuss, and share, and contribute. This was a learning experiance for many, so wasn't Mr. Garrison just doing his job?
