Father Joe has touched my family in many ways. He helped my son, a young man with autism, to learn and understand the Catholic faith. I have witnessed his actions, his faith and teaching impact many people. He is a cornerstone of the church and should be brought back right away. The parish needs him .

I am not a member of Blessed Sacrament, as I live in Florida, but I so enjoy going to Mass when I visit my daughter in Norfolk and so enjoy Fr. Joe's homilies. He is always such a special part of my visit to Norfolk.

Fr. Joe is the singlemost dedicated priest I have met -- and in my travels all over the country, I have met a lot. He was immensely helpful to me in my vocational discernment journey. The parish is missing a wonderful pastor with his absence.

Fr Joe in other times his action would not have been an issue, poor judgement call , in light of the Church's failure to address genuine sexual assault issues. Fr Joe is caught up in an over zealous reaction for the Church to show it responding to these issues. We support the Catholic Church in response to genuine issues. We also understand the hierority pursuing genuine issues. It is time for Fr. Joe to return to his flock.

Father Joe engages sincerely and playfully with our children. They come to Communion and expect a blessing. They volunteer to serve Mass and they learn about our sacred rituals. It is obvious that they aspire to be joyful and helpful servants in the church. Father Joe goes to the homes of our families and shares their lives. He has seen children grow up and go on to college. They return for blessings, weddings, baptisms. Father Joe is part of the fabric of our lives. If anyone can inspire the youth to choose the religious life, it is Father Joe.

I came to Blessed Sacrament and returned to Catholocism BECAUSE of Father Joe! He has walked with me through several big and stressful Spiritual journeys. This parish needs him and we need him now. please end this exile for him and us and return our parish Priest to us. Thank You, James McGough

Father Joe is the best priest I ever encountered . My company performed several additions to Blessed Sacrament church through out the years. Starting with flipping the Sanctuary 180 degrees in 2002 and completing the south wing expansion of the sanctuary in 2012. I worked closely with Father joe, He was always concerned about saving the parish money , being ethical and proper and building a classy exquisite building. Both of my children love Father joe and they always look forward to attending mass. We want him back and pray for his quick return.

Father Joe brought my husband back to church and he also did the service for his funeral. I could not have asked for anything more fitting for my husband and afterwards I felt that he was totally at peace. A more thoughtful and kind person could not be found.
