When I returned from my first semster at college, I was excited to be back at Blessed Sacrament and hear Fr. Joe deliver another passionate homily in person. I was very disappointed when I heard he would not be celebrating mass with his parish. I have grown up at Blessed Sacrament with Fr. Joe and I know our church’s expansion is due to his passion and faith. There is a reason so many parishioners come to mass each week and are involved in so many ministry efforts at Blessed Sacrament. That reason is Fr. Joe.

Father Joe has given so much to our parrish, he has made himself available to us when ever he was needed and has been selfless, caring and spiritually uplifting. We need him and want him back to lead us as he has for so long. He has my support and that of my entire family.

Father Joe has had a wonderfully positive effect on our family. My college kids were upset that they would not see him over the holidays while they were home. Because of his guidance, my kids have a firm foundation in their faith. I will continue to pray for Father Joe, but hope he returns to his parish as soon as possible.

Father Joe is and has been what the Church desperately needs and needing to be true to its teachings. He provided a genuine, compelling, and compelling service that was both spiritual, inspiring, engaging and down to earth. He aptly captured the souls and minds of all. His prompt return to this Church and this community is crucial. We pray for this for all our sake, and for the sake of the Church.

My comments are inappropriate to share publicly about any man who wants to be addressed as "Your Excellency" in 21st Century America. Even Trump is just "Mr. President."

I’m sure that anything “questionable” that Father Joe may have done was done, not only selflessly, but with wholesome good intentions. He is a wonderful man and role model for the young and old alike.

There is no finer priest than Father Joe. I personally vouch for his integrity as a priest and as the rightful head of our parish. I beg of you to bring him back to us at Blessed Sacrament.

I know Father Joe and have interacted with him in social settings for over 20 years. My children have had the opportunity to interact with him too. Our family knows that Father Joe has been god sent to his parish and to all of us who know him. His loyalty to the Faith and to his calling is a breath of fresh air in a stigmatized and petrified Catholic Church.

My thoughts and perspective have been expressed to the Bishop. I could write a book on Father Joe’s positive impact on our community, our parish, and on a personal level, my family. The most fundamental and overriding purpose of the rules and regulations governing the conduct of priests toward minors is to promote and protect the interests of young people of the Church, and any action by the Diocese that deprives our youth of Father Joe’s service as our parish priest would be, to put it mildly, contrary to that purpose.

He is my pastor and has been a great family friend to me and my family. My good friend, Selena, met Fr. Joe at the parish and was very fond of him. She came from Holy Trinity Catholic Church.

Bishop Knestout, Fr. Joe is missed at Blessed Sacrament. My three children are alter servers and are anxiously awaiting his return. Please recognize that this process is deeply affecting the youth in our parish, and will continue to negatively impact their spirituality until he returns.
