It breaks my heart that this is even happening! Allegations are being made that are untrue!!

We want our priest back!!! I am shocked at how things have been dealt with. My son is to have his First Communion with Father Joe as his Priest and this is beyond tearing our family apart!!

It has always been abundantly clear to our family that Father Joe loves Jesus and seeks serve him with his whole being. Recently one of our children wrote Father Joe from college and thanked him for putting our masses on line. We appreciate him and miss him and look forward to welcoming him home to Blessed Sacrament.

My wife has known Fr. Joe for over 35 years. I have known Fr. Joe for 25 years. He is a man of the highest integrity. We consider him both a beloved friend and priest. When one of our son’s got in trouble, Fr. joe was the first person at our door, food in hand. His love for our family and our son, and his godly advice, helped our son regain his focus.
We are in spiritual pain and suffering without his presence and guidance at our parish. Without him our parish is in a proverbial state of limbo. The longer he is away from our parish, the greater spiritual harm our parish will experience. Our understanding is that Fr. Joe committed no grave sin, but only violated a diocesan policy. The vague updates from each visiting priest have not brought peace, but have only sown confusion.
My family asks that he be reinstated to his full duties at our parish immediately. If not, we ask for full disclosure and transparency directly from the bishop as to why.
Respectfully,
Clark S. Olsen
