By 2013, the school leaving age will be raised to 18. This means students will not have the choice or control of their own future. We want to change this! We want young people everywhere in the UK to have the choice to do what they want in the future. Further education is not the right path for everyone; for example, less academic people would struggle to achieve the requirements of further education and would benefit more from going out and getting a job for themselves. Giving young people the choice will enhance confidence and freedom as they will have control over their future. Youths need to experience life outside of education where they must fend for themselves. Bring down the school leaving age, not the future for our teens. YOU should choose your own path.
