Dear Dave and Busters Team,
The Birchwood Mall in Fort Gratiot, MI, has always been a source of gathering and shopping of people from Port Huron, Marysville, Fort Gratiot, Lexington, Croswell, and even our neighbors from Canada. For many years the mall has been a hub of different stores and retailers but now the mall is in need of a shakeup, something to bring people back to the retailers.
Currently there is an AMC Movie Theater at the mall, but rising movie prices tend to drive people to one of the other two theaters in the area who's prices are slightly lower, and the shops that are in the mall are starting to close due to shoppers looking elsewhere for their products.
Currently the old Sears store at the north end of the Mall stands vacant, or filled with cheap temporary concepts that will not draw anyone in due to the lack of entertainment and high prices.
This would be a perfect location for a Dave and Busters, something that will bring in adults, teens and children alike to partake in the quality food and entertainment that D&B provides, which in turn will bring more people to the mall to shop and partake in the local movie theater since they are already in the mall.
Besides the food court which offers a limited selection, the only sit down restaurant at the mall has closed, and no other standing location has taken its place, giving Dave and Busters the monopoly on the food scene at this location.
Formerly there was an arcade at the mall some twenty year ago, and since its departure we have been craving for something to come in and take its place, because not only is there nothing like this in the mall, but nothing like this in the Port Huron Area for anyone younger than 21, and due to Dave and Busters high reputation and wide selection of games and entertainment I think it would be the perfect fit for our mall and our city.
Not only will this location bring in people from the Port Huron area, but from as far away as Port Sanilac, Lexington, and Croswell who find the drive to the Utica location too far to travel on a regular basis. On top of this there is the Blue Water Bridge international crossing in our town which means we draw a huge amount of Canadian traffic to the city who would love to come and experience the fun and games that D&B has to offer!
Thank you for taking the time to read this, and hopefully with the right amount of signatures and the cooperation of the management at Birchwood Mall, we can bring a whole new influx of business and visitors to the Port Huron Area

I am a cook in the area and I think that the addition of Dave and Busters would be great for the area. It would not only provide more jobs for this area but also give something interesting for teens and adults alike to go out and enjoy themselves.
I think that it would only work if it provides all of the same accommodations as the Hall Road location does. That locations building seems quite a bit larger than just the SEARS part of Birchwood mall. Food for thought. Good idea though.
Dave and Buster's would be a great addition to this mall! It would give me and my boyfriend a reason to come back to Port Huron for a visit once in a while since I moved away due to the low job rates in Port Huron unless you want to work a dead end retail job.
The nearest one is almost an hour away. The younger teens and children in our area have nothing like this to occupy their mind and time when not focusing on school. The lack of places like this in our area is what causes teens and kids to hang out in the streets and that leaves room to cause trouble.
Dave a busters could definitely help we go to the one on hall road all the time and it's always so packed you can tell it brings in money and that's something that needs to be done with the mall.
