At the very least a formal, detailed statement needs to be quickly provided to the GISC family as to why such a great coach and asset to RMSC has been dismissed.

Please bring Ryan back. It is so hard to find a coach that is so respected by the swimmers and parents. He works very hard with all the swimmers and it shows at every meet.

I have known Coach Ryan for more than 20 years now and know few better men. Not only is he a great man, but he is an irreplaceable brother, friend, and without a doubt coach to every single person he comes across. In my lifetime I have been coached by dozens of coaches, even as I played a long side Coach Ryan, and not one coach that I came across shared the same ability, passion, and love that I have seen Ryan exemplify over and over again. Ryan has "it," the ability to lead and motivate people to do things beyond there means. To coach them, motivate them, facilitate, and guide them to be better. My own nephews flock to Ryan when he is present because of his obvious compassion and ability to lead. I wish I had the abilities Ryan does, and believe an entire organization will be losing a legacy individual if he is not brought back. I have been very successful in the first 30 years of my life, and a great part of that has come from company I have kept and lived life with, and Ryan has been and always will be my brother. I hope to see a great outcome from this, not only for Ryan, but for the children Ryan can lead for years to come.

Ryan has not done anything wrong, he is the best coach any swimmer could ever ask for. With out Ryan the group isn't the same, it's falling apart. We need Ryan back!

The fact that we even have to sign this petition is ridiculous I'm saddened by this whole situation. Bring Ryan back.

I don't swim with RMSC, but I have witnessed the compassion and dedication Coach Ryan has shown while coaching. I do, however, swim for Northwest High School and have been on many other clubs teams when I lived in Georgia, so I am aware what a good consists of. After every high school practice, I sit in the lobby watching the Advanced Seniors Group and I witnessed how much care and time he [Ryan] puts into his athletes. His athletes genuinely seem happy and ethusiastic to start practice every time I see them. Unfortunately, today I saw many sad faces before the Advanced Senior practice. This is clearly because of the dismissal of Ryan. That amazing coach gave those athletes, those kids, something to look forward to after a stressful day at school. I am friends with a lot of the Advance Seniors and know how much they truly care for Ryan. I might have only had a few conversations with Ryan, but everytime he talks to me and gives me advice about swimming or tries to convince me to join RMSC (which I feel like I definitely should do now since the dismissal of Ryan) I can feel the love he has for the sport and the RMSC program. It was truly irrational to dismiss Ryan, and I feel like the success of the Advanced Seniors Group is halted because of Ryan's dismissal.

I wouldn't be swimming at Florida Institute of Technology without his coaching.

Ryan was a huge and positive role model for Tess. Because of Ryan she has achieved a level of swimming that she might not have otherwise aspired to. He is the best coach she has ever had. Please reinstate him!

I don't agree with the process of Ryan's dismissal/firing. This comes mid season and I'm afraid all the work our kids have put into becoming better swimmers will be diminished and may not be able to recuperate. Please don't punish our children for (administrative matters) I feel the kids and parents have a say in whom we want our coach our coach to be. Please bring Ryan back if he will come back.

Ryan is not only a great coach, but also a role model to the young athletes ever worked with him!
