Charlotte chess center is the best for chess enthusiasts. Peter is extremely dedicated and brings out the best in the children. Having CCC at Randolph would provide a big platform for kids who have their heart set on chess since elementary to continue it further. This will be vital step to prevent the loss of chess talent, as well as provide exposure to others around. Coming from Barringer Academic center I would hope that our kids would continue to excel in chess provided they continue to have the same exposure that they had in elementary school.

I strongly support starting the Charlotte Chess Center program at Randolph. My daughter has been a member of the program for the last 4 years at Barringer and have immensely benefited from this program. It will be excellent if we could have the option of being able to continue association with this program as part of middle school.

We love Charlotte Chess Center. Our son asked to try the chess club when he began school at Barringer Academic Center and has been attending the weekly sessions plus summer camps ever since Kindergarten. In addition to the game instruction, it's been a positive social experience and something to look forward to each week. We hope that, when he attends Randolph Middle, the program will be there for him to continue learning from these chess masters.

Strongly support introduction of the chess club in Randolph. Chess has helped our son Grisham at Barringer. We would like him to continue in middle school when he comes to Randolph. Having a chess club at Randolph will help sustain kids interest in chess which provides much needed mental exercise and improves focus in studies.

My son is currently enrolled at RMS and is also involved with the Chess Center. While he had fun at the chess club last year, he takes chess seriously, and we believe this would take the Randolph chess team to the next level.

This is a no-brainer. Peter and his team of chess coaches and his chess center have made Charlotte and the schools they coach well-known in the chess community. As a chess grandmaster who has taught chess for Peter, I can attest to his commitment to strengthening chess and chess school programs in Charlotte.

Bringing Peter and his program to BAC was instrumental in moving the club to a perennial national contender in the elementary chess scene. I am sure he would do the same at RMS.

We would love to continue with our son's chess lessons in RMS. Having a team to participate in state and national tournaments boosts their enthusiasm and interest in the game.

Sanjit has been a student of Charlotte Chess Center for the past 3 years (@ Barringer Academic Center). The training has helped him immensely not only in the game but also in other areas like focus, strategic thinking, patience etc.,
He did pretty good in the super nationals 2017 and stood fourth in K6 U1000 category. There is a group of kids that have been groomed by CCC who have done excellent at national and local tournaments. We as parents would love to have CCC presence at RMS.
