Bill Herzog is the textbook definition of an amazing teacher; there is not a single person as dedicated, passionate, and as incredible as him and to remove him from his job at Broadview Middle School is quite simply one of the most disadvantageous decisions the school board could make for themselves, and the countless students Bill has helped.

I have had the honor and privilege of working with Bill Herzog and I can say, without question, he is one of the finest, most dedicated teachers I have ever known. His love and dedication to the children of Danbury and his desire to see them succeed is unparalleled. Removing him from Broadview is a great disservice to the children of Danbury!

Best teacher!! What a disservice to all students!! Bill had my son and stayed in resource for 2 periods onstead of going to study hall. What student does that!! 8 years later Bill assisted him again. Danbury will make a mistake if they let him go

Mr. Herzog helped my daughter years ago when my daughter had some difficulties. He helped her get though school as I am sure he helped many many others. I think we should start thinking about the well-being of the students!!!

I have met many outstanding teachers and staff while my two daughters attended Danbury Public Schools. Bill is one of the finest people I had the pleasure of dealing with, his compassion, love and dedication for the students is immeasurable.

By far one of the greatest mentors and advocates for students I’ve ever met. From the day I met Bill, he offered nothing but support, wisdom, and kindness. Removing him from Broadview is a disservice to the students
