My Grandfather started Shaver poultry in Galt over 80 yrs ago by raising chickens in his backyard. Shaver poultry went on to become the biggest independent poultry breeder in the world. We should always encourage entrepreneurs!

Other cities have chickens without issues. Such a wholesome educational experience for young and old. Bonus eggs for the neighbours would also promote a lovely neighborhood vibe.
