Don't know the specifics, but I do demonstations with air guns for momentum measurements etc. They are fine with appropriate safety precautions, sounds like no major damage was done here. What's the problem?

I've been a student at St.Peters' s, and have been taught science by Mr.West. He is such a genuine person professionally and passionate of his teaching role, this situation seems to be misunderstood, please reconsider as its hard to find good teachers.

Reinstate this teacher. It was a mistake, little harm done. Many of the pupils want him to return. He is obviously a very well liked man.

Clearly an accident. I was lucky enough to be taught by him a decade ago and the best thing I can say is that he made physics fun and he was always thinking outside the box finding ways to explain things more easily. I hope the board of governors take everyone's feelings and the circumstances into consideration and reinstate Mr. West ASAP.
