As a committee member of a university snowsports society, we are trying to promote and encourage freestyle development, and more regular freestyle sessions would be very beneficial.
If our young snow atheletes and coaches had an all year round real snow slope to build freestyle parks on once a week it'd mean the world to all of them. I'll never understand why anyone would want to hold that back. Especially if it's a possibility
Chillfactore killed the love of snowboarding for me shuttin down freestyle nights. Used to travel over an hour couple times of weeek spend my hard earned cash.....when it turned into a cash cow my love was lost and have about 10 mates who are the same.
Definitely needed as chillfactore is losing core customers to other domes. Also we need to develop the youth and get more pro riders from Manchester, the biggest dome in the country, and if the weekly park returns, it will certainly be the best some!!!
Makes so much sense, I know so many people in the northwest that drive for hours to go ride a park that chill don't provide. I personally drive over an hour in rush hour traffic and may money to go and ride at Halifax. Everything is ready to go in every aspect. Just needs marketing and regularity.
Bring back weekly parks!!!

The decline of freestyle nights at chill have massively influenced the snowboard scene in Manchester in a negative way. What was once such a healthy snowboard scene is now in tatters. Its a real shame to have witnessed it.
