Tom Chambers' Inspector Sullivan is far superior and the chemistry with the other characters so inspired, it makes no sense to replace him with "Mallory".

I hate his attitude...but it is in the script so it is not his fault that he is a creep. Tom Chambers plays the creep far better than the current creep...so bring him back for the sake of the show!

The petition author is right. Tom Chambers played a soulful Inspector Sullivan, a multi-family man who had kindness under his tough exterior. He brought energy to the show and was a perfect foil to Father Brown. His reliance on !ogic was a bit imperfect, as he didn't consider the human aspe t as much as Father Brown, so they worked perfectly together! Inspect Sullivan is as integral to the show as the others - Mrs. mcCartgy, Lady Felicia, Sid, and even Father Brown himself.

I absolutely loved Tom Chambers' Inspector Sullivan on Father Brown! I'm barely on Series 4, but I can't imagine this show without Chambers.
