We all know Apple is trying to push Thunderbolt external drives and connecters but professionals want a clutter-free workspace and they can't get that with a couple dozen external hard drives scattered al over their work area.
Pcie Slots. No matter what Apple thinks professionals still use pcie slots on a daily basis. PCI SSD, Blackmagic Intensity Pro, expansion, graphics. These are all very important tools which professionals still need and use on a daily basis.
Expandability! There is little to none expandability for the Mac Pro, sorry let me rephrase! There is expandability but your hardly going to swap out the gpu and cpu whenever you need to as its too complicated and there is a great chance of something going wrong.
Form Factor! The Mac Pro although I hate to admit it, is too small. This makes it seem delicate and it makes you be more careful with it. With the previous generation Mac Pros, you knew that that could take a knock and come out, but with the new generation Mac Pros you just don't know whether its going to survive.
So to all the professionals out there who love mac and want a desktop tower Mac Pro, sign this petition and hopefully we can get Apple to take notice and make them realise what real professionals want. A Tower.

I am stuck with one of these and I haven't been able to use it much because I don't have the hard drive space I did before even after spending close to $1000 upgrading the internal flash drive to 1TB, and am saving up for thunderbolt this and thunderbolt that in order to do anything practical on it. I have had it for 3 months and am still using my old 2008 mac pro 8-core tower for most things because it is less of a pain and has the storage to hold my data. This trash can is one of the most impractical computers I have ever owned - though I must admit it is a nice piece of desk furniture. Maybe when it is obsolete I will use it to hold flowers for my wife!
Make a good computer for change Apple!

Cause the new Mac Pro is useless for serious audio work. Apple bought Logic once. Now they don't support the pro audio community. It's hard to invest in a platform that doesn't take its professional users seriously.
