Cause the new Mac Pro is useless for serious audio work. Apple bought Logic once. Now they don't support the pro audio community. It's hard to invest in a platform that doesn't take its professional users seriously.

Because I have owned mac towers since they first came out with the G3. I believe a tower is better suited for my professional needs

Please bring back the tower. Having all these external connection defeats the purpose of it's size.

Apple is trying to push Thunderbolt external drives and connecters but I want a clutter-free office workspace and I can't get that with a couple dozen external hard drives scattered all over my desk. my wife says I have too much clutter as it is..
I want to have an apple with expandabilty and room for me to add a couple of hard drives I'm signing because I know theres a whole industry that still wants internal standard GPU expandability. Apple need to leave pro users to customise standard GPU cards, CPUs HDs and RAM. Pros love and need internal expandability, we're not the same customers as the consumer market who will buy in to proprietary connections and locked down hardware. We don't need everything smaller slimmer and lighter, we don't carry these things around! Also false advertising regarding thunderbolt has left many pros disappointed. Thunderbolt does NOT give you and option to upgrade everything. PCI 3 16x is completely bottlenecked by thunderbolt which runs at a fraction of the speed, so no external chassis options, no Nvidea cards. This thing is just like the cube.

I am stuck with one of these and I haven't been able to use it much because I don't have the hard drive space I did before even after spending close to $1000 upgrading the internal flash drive to 1TB, and am saving up for thunderbolt this and thunderbolt that in order to do anything practical on it. I have had it for 3 months and am still using my old 2008 mac pro 8-core tower for most things because it is less of a pain and has the storage to hold my data. This trash can is one of the most impractical computers I have ever owned - though I must admit it is a nice piece of desk furniture. Maybe when it is obsolete I will use it to hold flowers for my wife!

I want to have an apple COMPUTER that means atoner with expandabilty and room for at least ONE hard drive.
Apples new mac pro is a garbage bin for yuppies with too much money.
