The children of Huncoat village now have nowhere to play except on the streets. Yes, there is a play park on Bolton Ave but this is too far away for most children. This facility needs replacing ASAP.

My children played on these facilities for years when we visited our friends. Please think of this generation and future generations. Talk to the residents - let them know what is going on.

Local residents were sent details around 12montgs ago of new facilities intended to upgrade the park. To remove the facilities is not just a failure to deliver on promises but fails our children on a much wider sense in an area well known for a high prevelance of health conditions in later life - outdoors and exercise are key for children.

I remember this park being refurbed back in 93-94 as we all ran down from the school field to try it, you cant expect village kids to trek to bolton ave that is not safe at all and the local kids to the village dont deserve to loose out on childhood experiences & memories

I live on station road and as a mother to six children it is safer to play on a park than main streets and roads !

I think it's upsetting removing a park without warning specially since a lot of young children that live in the area have lost a place to play an be safe while playing out
