I totally agree with all the comments I have read - Maynards Wine Gums were the best - sweet, tasty, soft and fruity. Now, the black ones taste like a chemical liquorice instead of blackcurrant, all are now hard and lack flavour - even the cheap Tesco ones are better - Please bring back the original recipe - I will not be buying any more until you do.

I have basically stopped eating any winegums since the recipe changed. There's no substitute for the original.

Would love for them to bring back the old recipe. I had an alternative (supermarket brand) that was quite close to their texture and flavour, but even those are now unavailable. Bring back the good old hard, slightly tart wine gums! Why change your product into something your competitors do better at 1/5 the price?

Before the new recept i ate about 1 candy bag every week. After the first taste of the new recept i haven't at a singld candy bag of Basset's winegum. In thf shop tha have reduced the spave from about 10 candy bag spear to 1. After years of searchinh I have now found a simular taste winegum. But do I miss the old Basset's winegum? YES!!!
